Delia works from her home in Palm Lakes, Tinley Manor, and happily meets clients at their offices and/ or homes or hers, or in public places (like coffee shops), fitting in with client preferences. She also consults in person, telephonically or on skype, so she is able to consult with clients, no matter where they are located.
The purpose of LEGAL EASE is to make legal advice affordable to ordinary people, and to provide clients with services, in matters where they would normally hesitate to see an an attorney, as the the rates charged by an attorney, would be more than the amount in dispute, and simply not worth their while financially. LEGAL EASE is all about bringing justice to ordinary people, even in the smallest of disputes. Some examples would be in the area of retail accounts, cell phone accounts, late payments of rent, issues with neighbours, sale and and lease agreements, preparing to testify in court, and a multitude of other matters.Delia is also able to help children, required to testify in court, as she has vast experience in this area. Although Delia is a criminal law specialist, she is also very knowledgeable in the area of ‘small claims court’ claims.
She is further an expert on consumer rights, and the South African Consumer Protection Act. She happily assists those who are considering going to small claims court by assisting them to prepare their case, and get all their documentation in order (as legal representatives not not allowed to appear in small claims court). She also assists in giving legal advice in all other areas of law, and referring clients to the relevant specialists, as the case may be. Furthermore, many of our associate practitioners are well versed in the following areas of law – divorce mediation, maintenance agreements, labour issues, conveyancing and more. Delia works specifically and primarily for LEGAL EASE members, and only does work for a non member in special circumstances. LEGAL EASE works on a subscription basis. Clients can be interviewed in person, or on Skype or telephonically. Delia communicates with clients on FB messenger, whatsapp or whatever is most cost effective for the client. Service is personal, and never by way of a call centre. Individual membership is R150 pm, and Corporate Membership R600 pm.
